Dwarf Meyer Lemon Tree

Citrus Meyeri “Meyer Lemon Tree”

Dwarf citrus trees are just like their normal counterparts, except that they have been grafted onto a special rootstock that causes them to remain compact. The Meyer Lemon is one of the most, if not the most, popular citrus tree for home gardens. They are now available in a Dwarf variety. This innovation allows you to grow citrus trees in small spaces, or grow several different varieties where you may only have room for one normal tree.

Meyer lemons are smooth and thin skinned and are not as large as the lemons from Eureka or Lisbon trees but are a more attractive looking. This makes them popular at supermarkets and for drinks and slicing. They prefer warm climates and are actually pretty hardy.
