Melia White Cedar 10″ Pot (Economy Grade)
Melia azedarach ‘White Cedar’
Melia White Cedar is a hardy fast growing native tree with a bushy rounded green crown in summer. This lovely tree is deciduous, making it a great choice as a summer shade tree, that lets the sun in through winter. White Cedar also boasts a flourish of scented lilac flowers followed by hard, yellow to pale orange bead-like fruits which hang on the tree well into autumn after the leaves have fallen.
The fruit although poisonous to humans and some animals, can provide abundant food for bird life. This tree loves being in full sun and isn’t too fussed about it’s soil quality or frost.
Grows approximately H: 9 Meters W: 7 Meters
