Pyrus ‘Manchurian’ Ornamental Pear 2ft (Bare Rooted)

Pyrus ussuriensis

The Manchurian Pear tends to have a straight upright trunk and horizontal branches, making it the very best ornamental pear for pleaching. Pleaching simplified is growing a trimmed hedge on a tall bear trunk. Because of the Manchurian Pear’s growing habit, it easily conforms to a hedge style planting. This is a very stylish way to block out the neighbours in a confined area, while allowing for a beautiful garden bed to be planted underneath. This plant is bare-rooted. Approximately 2-3 ft in height.
