Glauca Pencil Pines are widely agreed to be the ideal narrow, tall growing conifer. They produce less fruit or cones than most other varieties of conifer. They’re very hardy and  grow at a rate of about 1 metre per year, reaching a mature height of 15m. They can be kept trimmed at lower heights though it doesn’t require much maintenance. It is ideal for lining driveways, as a feature or in pots.
