In 2008, this rose was introduced in Australia under the name ‘Good Samaritan’ to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan of the Order of St. Benedict. Featuring the classic Hybrid Tea shape (with 25 – 35 petals), the deep magenta flowers are borne on long stems and emit a light, spicy, sweet fragrance. The plant has glossy, dark green leaves and demonstrates high resistance to diseases as well as tolerance to heat. This rose produces blooms in several cycles throughout the growing season and is suitable for use as a cut flower, in garden beds, or for mass planting.
