Salvia ‘Salvatore Blue’ 8″ Pot

Salvatore Blue is a type of woodland/perennial salvia that features incredibly deep blue flower spikes on dark, nearly black stems, making it a great choice for a dramatic pop of colour in the garden. It won’t get too big, like some larger growing salvias, and grows to a maximum width of 20cm and height of 30cm with it’s flower spikes. It flowers from late Spring right through Summer and Autumn, but you should cut back the dead flower stems to encourage repeat blooming.

This particular variety of salvia is quite a vigorous grower, and is well suited to growing in pots and containers. It’s happy in full sun and part shade, but if planting in part shade, make sure it’s in a spot where it gets at least 3 hours of sun a day. Also frost tolerant.

8″/20cm pot size.
