The “Green Vase” is so named for its lovely “vase-like” shape.  It is a medium to large tree with medium to fast growth and tolerant of tough conditions. This tree is native to parts of Asia and is a popular choice for Bonsai due to its dark green, cerated foliage which colours up in Autumn to brilliant shades of yellow, orange, tan and red.  An overall fabulous deciduous tree which could be used in avenue plantings, as a feature or to provide shade.
