A slender, purple skinned carrot with an orange centre. It’s fast growing and prefers full sun and well drained soil with lots of organic matter. It has a very sweet flavour and keeps its colour well when cooked. It can be steamed, added to most casserole-type dishes, eaten raw or added to salads.
