The Cleveland Select ornamental pear has a beautiful, almost perfect tear drop shape that is so neat it appears to be clipped. Before leaves form, the whole tree blossums simultaneously in early Spring, and then is covered in rich dark green foliage. In Autumn, the whole tree turns red in unison, rather than in patches. This is the beauty queen of the Ornamental Pears. Not as narrow as a Capital Pear Tree, but not so wide that it can’t go into most suburban gardens.
