Taxodium distichum secrest
The Swamp Cypress or Secrest Bald Cypress is a shorter growing deciduous, ornamental tree with a spreading habit that is very useful for boggy, even waterlogged spots in the garden. It has finely cut, light green foliage that turns golden before dropping. Its bark is deeply fissured and red/brown and rounded purple cones. Thrives in wet soil.
