Biggest range of plants in Victoria
1477 Sydney Road, Campbellfield, 3061, Victoria, Australia

Box hedging plants are those that suit low, square ‘box’ shaped hedges. Traditionally, they’re plants of the Buxus or boxwood variety, commonly seen in English and European formal gardens. They also look great in a cottage or modern garden. Here you’ll also find a few alternative plant varieties that do a similar job, such as fast growing Box Leaf Privet, Aussie native BoxOz Lonicera and hardy Euonymus. These varieties can also be trimmed into low, neat, square-shaped hedges.

If you’re not sure which box plant to choose, check out our page on Choosing your box hedge or low border. You’ll also find other, more colourful and flowering plants suitable for creating a low hedge in our Low Hedge (up to 1m) category.
