Swamp Lily grows naturally, but not commonly along the east coast of Australia. Over time they produce a small trunk with broad green leaves forming at the the top. A strong flower stalk bearing a scented cluster of slender white star shaped flowers appears in the summer.
The Swamp Lily can endure dry areas, though grows best with a well drained, moist soil.
