Bare Rooted Roses are Back, Baby!

Roses are the first plants arriving in the nursery for sale bare rooted this season, with more bare rooted plants to come over the next month. If you want to plant a rose garden or replace some roses, now is a great time. We have rose plants for sale in many varieties and colours, each in good quantity. This means you can get many of the same variety if you need to do a large planting.

Bare rooting is the process of selling, transporting and storing plants out of soil with their roots bare. This is possible in winter when many plants, like roses, are dormant. This makes their handling and care much cheaper and easier, which then means they can be sold cheaply, usually at least 25% less than the rest of the year.

Bare Rooted Roses for sale 2024

This year we already have 2ft & 3ft tall Standard (meaning ball on a stick shape) Bare Rooted Roses available for sale in a large range of varieties and colours, at up to 50% off the normal retail price you would pay for potted roses outside of winter.

More 3ft Standard Bare Rooted Roses will be coming early June 2024 (seasonal weather conditions will affect this slightly), and we have a selection of premium 3ft Standard Bare Rooted Roses that will be available for pre-order only, in bundles of 5, and will also be available for delivery or pick up early June.
